SB-2 - Super Budget Power Scaling™ Kit for Cathode-Bias

The SB-2 provides an easy installation for cathode bias amplifiers. Supply
voltages up to 540Vdc are accommodated, and amplifier power up to 120Wrms. A "drive compensation" pot
is included. The printed circuit board can be broken into two pieces to accommodate the space available.
A 28mm mil-spec PS pot is provided as it is a requirement of the circuit design.
Proper heat sinking is required. In small amps, such as the Valve Junior,
the chassis will suffice as the heat sink. In amps over 20W, it is best to add an aluminum heat sink. In
some cases a fan may be needed.
The installer of this mod should be able to recognize the relevant circuit
points without a layout or schematic for the subject amp.
PCB dimensions: 2.2 x 0.8", 56 x 20mm - can be split into two parts each
1.1 x 0.8", 28 x 20mm.
